Natalya + Greg | Persimmon Country Club | Portland Oregon Wedding Floral Design

October 6th, 2011

Get ready for LOTS of photos, and some serious prettiness!  Natalya and Greg were married on August 27th, 2011. The ceremony was held at their church, and the beautiful reception took place at Persimmon Country Club in Gresham, Oregon.  On this gorgeous summer day they were joined by over 250 of their closest friends and family.  Here are the photos that I captured of the floral designs for this special day.
Congratulations again Natalya and Greg, and God bless you in your beautiful new life together!

Guests arrived to sign in at the table with a white phalaenopsis orchid plant [already there for regular church services!] and a trio of modern white ceramic vases filled with ivory blooms, with touches of pearls, seeded eucalyptus and curly willow.

The aisle was lined with 20 floral pieces atop wrought iron stands [Barclay Event Rentals].  I just love the look that this gives to the ceremony decor – lush and beautiful, but the all white palette with touches of pearl accents was so romantic and classic.

There ceremony canopy was SO beautiful!  The birch chuppa was provided by Barclay Event Rentals, and was dressed with curly willow on the legs and a beautiful and lush arrangement across the top made up of all ivory hydrangeas, dahlias, garden roses, seeded eucalyptus and gorgeous hanging amyranthus.  Two classic gold chivari chairs were placed under the canopy of flowers for the bride and groom.

Ivory rose petals also lined both sides of the aisle runner for an extra touch of romance!  With the white backdrop [Barclay] lit up from behind, and the lights dimmed in the church during the ceremony – this was a GORGEOUS wedding.  Classic, romantic, lush decor!

The reception took place in the ballroom at Persimmon Country Club in Gresham, Oregon. With a massive head table seating a bridal party of 14 people, I chose to adorn the front edge of the table with classic glass cube vases, wrapped in a white satin ribbon, alternating white hydrangeas and ivory garden roses.  In the center of the head table there was a small round sweetheart table for the bride and groom, with a cascading arrangement of all ivory hydrangeas, dahlias, garden roses and white phalaenopsis orchids.

Tall centerpieces for the guest tables were made of all ivory hydrangeas and dahlia blooms with touches of seeded eucalyptus and curly for texture, and elegant pearl accents.

The gorgeous cake [made by a friend of the bride!] was a simple fondant design with piped buttercream details.  Adorned with a dome of ivory sweetheart roses on top, and a few ivory David Austin garden roses on each tier.
