Molly + Shaun were married inside of the amazingly rustic Octagonal Barn at McMenamins, Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in Hillsboro, Oregon.  They had tons of great diy details for their wedding day including a handmade burlap ring bearer pillow with their names stamped on it, and amazing centerpieces for their reception – they potted hydrangea plants in chic glass cylinders and set them on a wood cookie in the center of each guest table!

It was such a pleasure to work with Molly, as she knew what she wanted & liked, and let me take it from there and use creative freedom to bring her vision to life!  Dark Green & Navy blue with woodland & rustic touches.  SO Oregon!

Loved the texture and asymmetry of the bridal bouquet.  Molly gave me her inspiration and let me take it from there.  I had fun with this one!

Gorgeous texture in this lush green and blue bouquet. Geranium leaves, mint, blue thistle, green viburnum, and succulents with a burlap strip over navy blue ribbon.

Burlap over navy blue ribbon for the bouquet handle wraps.  Pulling in all the elements and colors scheme, down to the last detail.

Lapel corsages for the ladies made of green geranium leaves, blue thistle, and a scabiosa pod tied off with a strip of burlap & some twine.  Natural, fresh, yet still pretty.

I always say I have a favorite design “of all time”, but I just keep finding new favorites, so lets call this my favorite design from this wedding :)  Awesome rustic boutonniere made with a single scabiosa pod, wrapped with twine to a natural twig with real moss growing on it!

One of 2 cute little flower girl halos – made of eucalyptus, geranium leaves and blue thistle.  Tied off with navy ribbon in a way that they can adjust the size to the girls’ heads, and then let the ribbons hand down their backs like little fairies!

Here are some shots that my friend Jenn snapped of me designing one of the bridesmaids bouquets… Kind of funny to see myself designing, I purposely didn’t share any of the pictures that had my face in them because I am SO focused that I look mad! haha

Purple is such a dramatic and gorgeous wedding color.  There are some pretty amazing blooms that come in this color, but unfortunately they are not always in season, or easy to find.  Look at this amazing dark purple lilac I got to design with for Tabitha’s wedding this past weekend! It makes me so sad that lilac is pretty much out of season in our area, but so excited that one of my amazing local vendors was able to get it for me – look at the gorgeous texture the lilac gives these arrangements!  These beauties were made up of purple lilac, Ocean Song lavender roses, purple trachelium, and purple hydrangea.  Ugh, I just wanted to keep them for myself! hehehe

We set the scene for the wedding ceremony by placing these arrangements on our gorgeous glass “curvy vases” as I call them.  They sat on our white pedestals, and we set up silver chiavari chairs with white cushions for the bride & groom to sit on during the longer than normal Romanian wedding ceremony.

I can’t wait to see the professional photos from this wedding – I got to see Tabitha in her wedding dress when I delivered her bouquet, and she looked AMAZING!
